MANILA, Philippines – A low pressure area will bring rains over Visayas and Mindanao while a cold front will continue to affect Northern and Central Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Tuesday.

The low pressure area was seen 810 kilometers east of Mindanao at 4 a.m. Friday, Pagasa said in its latest weather forecast.

The low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms.

Likewise, the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, Pagasa added.

“Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast and East with slight to moderate seas,” the state-run weather bureau added.
