Two vessels collide at Port of Amlan in Negros Oriental

MANILA, Philippines — Two vessels bumped each other at the Port of Amlan in Negros Oriental on Tuesday, the Philippine Coast Guard reported.

The PCG said it responded to the collision between LCT Bato Twin I and MT Petro Helen as the first boat was maneuvering and slammed the second boat.

“[LCT Bato Twin I] hit MT Petro Helen due to strong waves and winds,” the PCG said in a statement.
