PRC: 3,774 examinees pass Mechanical Engineering Board Exam
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,774 out of 6,070 or 62.17 percent of takers have passed the Mechanical Engineering Board Exam, according to the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Reynell Villanueva Sanchez from Rizal Technological University got the top score, 94.90 percent, said the PRC on Thursday.
According to the commission, Mark Francis Manalad Sedano got the second-highest score at 94.30 percent, followed by Jhon Maghanoy Crispino with 93.95 percent, both of whom are from the Technological University of the Philippines – Manila.

- James Estabillo Nuval, Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main – Sta. Mesa and Karl Andree Baconga Olaivar, Xavier University – 92.65 percent
In terms of the performance of schools, the University of Science & Tech of Southern Philippines Cagayan De Oro had a 100 percent passing rate, with all 44 people passing the exam. It is followed by Iloilo Science and Tech. University with a 97 percent passing rate among 45 takers.
They are followed by the Batangas State University – Alangilan (92.50 percent), Bohol Island State University (91.67 percent), Bicol University – Legazpi (86.96), University of San Carlos (82 percent), Silliman University (81.63 percent) and MAPUA Malayan Colleges Laguna (80.28 percent).
