MANIILA, Philippines — Except for isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly over the eastern section, the whole country will experience partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies Maundy Thursday, state forecasters said.

Warm weather is also expected across Northern Luzon due to a ridge of a high pressure area, or fewer clouds, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds blowing from the east to southeast will prevail over extreme northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast to east with slight to moderate seas.
