MANILA, Philippines — Most parts of the country can expect fair weather conditions from Friday until the weekend as the state weather bureau sees no low-pressure area (LPA) or tropical cyclone entering the Philippine area of responsibility.

Weather updates from the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Friday afternoon showed that the only weather condition affecting the country is the northeast monsoon or amihan, which would bring colder than usual temperatures over Luzon.

However, cloudy skies and occasional rains are still expected due to the amihan and some cloud clusters over Palawan and Western Visayas.
