CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija — Due to the bad weather, at least 14 local government units (LGUs) in this province suspended school classes on Friday, according to the Department of Education (DepEd).

In an announcement, the DepEd-Nueva Ecija said 13 of these LGUs suspended classes at all levels, citing the torrential rains that the low-pressure area and northeast monsoon brought.

These were the municipalities of San Isidro, Gabaldon, Rizal, Peñaranda, Pantabangan, Gen. Tinio, San Antonio, Carranglan, Talavera, Santa Rosa, Guimba, Aliaga, and Laur.
