Pagasa: Fair, warm Friday in most parts of PH
MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected in Metro Manila and most parts of the country on Friday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The state weather bureau, however, said isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon and evening.
“Maaliwalas na panahon ang ating mararanasan, mainit at maalinsangan, simula umaga hanggang sa tanghali. Ngunit mamayang hapon hanggang sa gabi, asahan natin itong mga tsansa ng mga panandaliang buhos ng ulan na dala ng localized thunderstorms,” said Pagasa weather specialist Daniel James Villamil.
(Fair, hot, humid weather is expected, from morning to noon. However in the afternoon until evening, we can expect brief periods of rainfall due to localized thunderstorms).
In Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, and Palawan, the intertropical convergence zone will bring cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, said Pagasa.
