The Manila Doctors Hospital on United Nations Avenue in Ermita has an ongoing screening for beneficiaries of free cataract surgeries.

The annual surgical mission called Share the Gift of Vision, done in cooperation with the Metrobank Foundation Inc., has served 800 patients in its 11 years in operation, the hospital said in a statement.

This year, the surgeries will be conducted in May, with the preregistration and screening period for patients starting this month until April 25.

Interested patients may call the hospital’s outpatient department eye room at 524-3011 loc. 3720, Mondays to Fridays, 8 a.m-3 p.m.
