Only fully vaxxed visitors can enter Caloocan cemeteries during Undas – LGU
MANILA, Philippines – Vaccination is required to visit Caloocan cemeteries during the commemoration of All Saint’s Day or Undas, the local government unit (LGU) of Caloocan said on Tuesday.
The Caloocan LGU said as part of its “Oplan Kaluluwa” Undas campaign, public cemeteries in the city will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on October 29 to November 2.
“Sinisikap natin na magtuloy-tuloy na ang pagbaba ng mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa lungsod kaya’t nililinaw natin na dapat ay fully vaccinated ang mga dadalaw sa kanilang mga yumaong kapamilya ngayong Undas,” Caloocan City Administrator Oliver Hernandez said in a statement.
(We are aiming that the downward trend of COVID-19 cases in the city will continue, so we are clarifying that only fully vaccinated individuals can visit their departed loved ones this Undas).
In addition, people with body temperatures 37.5 °C and above will be given a 10-minute rest before rechecking them to allow leeway for weather conditions, said City Health Department Officer-in-charge Evelyn Cuevas.

(We ask for your cooperation in heeding the local government guidelines for an orderly visit to your late loved ones).
