One of Laguna’s most wanted men falls in manhunt ops

Police authorities have arrested one of Laguna's most wanted persons in the province following a manhunt operation over the weekend

MANILA, Philippines – Police authorities have arrested one of Laguna’s most wanted persons in the province following a manhunt operation over the weekend.

In a statement issued on Monday, the Laguna Police Provincial Office said policemen apprehended the suspect, identified as Richard Lizano, in a manhunt operation on Sunday afternoon. He is currently living in Calamba City, Laguna.

Lizano is facing a homicide case filed on July 14. The recommended bail amounts to P180,000.

The suspect is currently in the custody of the Calamba City Police Station.

Police Colonel Randy Glenn Silvio, officer-in-charge of the Laguna Police Office, lauded the Laguna police for their dedication to their work.

“Akin pong ikinararangal ang mga personnel na ito ng Laguna [Philippine National Police] para sa kanilang hindi matatawarang dedikasyon sa pag ganap sa kanilang mga sinumpaang tungkulin upang tugisin at panagutin ang mga taong nagtatago sa batas,” Silvio said in the same statement.
