4 drug suspects nabbed in Laguna, Rizal

 

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested on Friday four drug suspects and seized over P104,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and marijuana in separate operations in Laguna and Rizal.

In Calamba City, Laguna, police collared Joemarie Casaje and Michael Ignacio Maunahan in a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Paciano at around 7:30 p.m., the Police Regional Office 4-A reported on Saturday.

Confiscated from the suspects were 510 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth an estimated P61,000.

In Antipolo City, Rizal, police arrested Murphy Antonio and Jimmy Zamora in Barangay San Isidro at around 9 p.m.

Seized from the suspects were two sachets of shabu worth around P43,000.

All suspects are under police custody and will face a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
