PDEA nabs 9 in Subic buy-bust, drug den dismantled

SUBIC, Zambales — Nine suspects, including the alleged operator of a drug den, were arrested during a buy-bust operation here on Sunday, July 17, a police report said.
The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Zambales identified the alleged drug den operator as Jessie Jalil, 60. Also arrested were suspects Udden Muhammad; Kevin Hussin, 22; Antonette Villarosa, 51; Aida Ampatue, 50; Ahaddi Calvi, 42; Nurjan Wali, 21; Romeo Isaias, 59; and Ma. Victoria Muños, 35.
The suspects were arrested in a house that was allegedly turned into a drug den in Barangay (village) Calapacuan here at around 12:35 a.m.
Seized from the suspects were 11 heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing 12.9 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P90,000, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used in the bust.
The arrested suspects will be facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
