Olongapo City posts 7 new COVID-19 cases
OLONGAPO CITY — At least seven new cases of COVID-19 were added to the city’s tally on Tuesday, bringing to 12 its active infections, local data showed.
This was the highest number of new cases in recent weeks, according to the local COVID-19 task force.
Among the newly infected patients is a 74-year-old man from Barangay Mabayuan who was fully vaccinated against the viral disease. He displayed several symptoms of COVID-19, such as fever, sore throat, and cough.
The youngest among the new patients is a 21-year-old woman from Barangay Old Cabalan. She was also fully vaccinated and showed symptoms of the disease.
At least three COVID-19 patients in the city have also recovered from the disease, the same data showed.
