Pagasa says rainy Monday for Palawan, Mindoro
MANILA, Philippines — Palawan and Mindoro will have scattered rain on Monday due to the southwest monsoon, or the habagat, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Nakakaapekto itong hanging habagat partikular na nga sa may bahagi ng Palawan at Mindoro provinces,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said during Sunday afternoon’s public weather forecast.
(The habagat will be affecting Palawan and Minodoro provinces.)
Palawan and Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain and thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides are possible due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

(It means that vessels are safe to go out to sea but when there are thunderstorms, care should be taken as waves may grow stronger.)
Pagasa said it is not monitoring any low pressure area or weather disturbance in the country at present.
