Green, White share lead in Customs Cup

POWERHOUSE Green extended Blue’s winless skid following a, 80-69 bashing while White outgunned Red, 65-53, Thursday night in the 2nd elimination round of the Customs basketball dubbed as the 3rd Major Alfonso Abbariao Cup-Biggest Loser-2012 at the Basak San Nicolas gym.

Green and White now share the lead with identical 4-1 win-loss records.

Green led by single digit in the first two quarters but widened the gap in the third with a, 22-11 run for a commanding 15-point edge, 57-42, heading into the final quarter.

Jingjing Rama fired a game-high 24 points on top of seven trifectas to lead Green while Raymund Delig and Tata Laborte paced Blue with 18 and 13 points, respectively.

FEATURED STORIES

Earlier, White Team trailed 13-16 deficit in the first period but rallied in the 2nd to take a, 30-28 halftime lead and was never in trouble the rest of the way.

Boodie Monteño led White with 22 points while Jan Mose paced Red with 12 markers.
