PH logs 175 new COVID-19 infections – DOH tracker
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday recorded 175 new COVID-19 infections.
While the number of new cases remains lower than the average cases recorded the previous week April 25 to May 1, at 200 per day or a total of 1,399 infections, this is still slightly higher than Friday’s 150 recorded cases.
Active COVID-19 infections however, dropped from Friday’s 4,517 to 4,305.
With this, the total number of confirmed infections now sit at 3,686,868 nationwide, with 3,622,124 recoveries and 60,439 deaths.
The total number of tested individuals on Saturday, meanwhile was at 17,487.
