After tasting first loss, Talk ‘N Text rebounds with overtime win over Barako Bull

Ryan Reyes detonated two three-point bombs in the closing minutes of the overtime period as the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters rebounded from a previous loss with a close 113-106 overtime win over the Barako Bull Energy last night in the 37th PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Cuneta Astrodome.
Reyes scored just nine points but his two three-pointers inside the final minute of the extension period zapped the life out of the hard-fighting Energy.
The two teams were tied at 106-all when Reyes dropped a long bomb that gave the Texters a 109-106 lead with 1:09 left.

Jimmy Alapag scored 27 points, import Donell Harvey had 26 as the Texters bagged their fourth win in five games, regaining the solo lead after bowing to the Air21 Express last Wednesday.
Larry Fonacier finished with 17 points, while Ranidel De Ocampo added 14 for the defending champions Texters.
Rodney White erupted for a game-high 42 points, while Willie Miller scattered 20 for the Energy, who dropped to 2-4 (win-loss). Miller made a long three-pointer with 2.9 seconds left in the regulation period that sent the game into overtime.
