Lacson – Sotto campaign sets sights on Ilocos region, Tarlac
MANILA, Philippines — With the election day fast approaching, the tandem of presidential candidate Senator Panfilo Lacson and his running mate, Senate President Vicente Sotto III will campaign in several Luzon provinces, including those in the Ilocos region.
On Monday, Lacson and Sotto are heading to Tarlac. Their first stop is at the San Sebastian Cathedral for a courtesy call on Bishop Enrique Macaraeg.
They will then proceed to Tarlac State University for a town hall meeting with farmers and members of transport groups.
Before leaving Tarlac, the tandem will have a courtesy call on Tarlac City Mayor Ma. Cristina Angeles and Gov. Susan Yap.
Pangasinan
On Monday afternoon, Lacson and Sotto will head to Urdaneta City in Pangasinan where they are scheduled to meet with around 3,500 fish and meet vendors, vegetable farmers, market vendors, mango growers, bamboo crafts industry, onion farmers, members of the Employers Confederation Of The Philippines, small business owners, retirees from the police force and solo parents for a town hall meeting.

On Tuesday, the tandem will have a full schedule in the Ilocos region, particularly in La Union, Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte.
They will also visit Abra in the Cordillera Administrative Region for a town hall meeting with tobacco farmers.
Lacson and Sotto will first stop by the La Union Provincial Capital for a courtesy call on Gov. Francisco Emmanuel Ortega III before heading to the Pamilihang Bayan ng San Fernando for a market tour.
They will then travel to Vigan, where they will have lunch at the famed Calle Crisologo.
Lacson and Sotto will briefly make a stop in Abra to meet with Bishop Leopoldo Jaucian at the Bangued Cathedra. They will later have a town hall meeting with tobacco farmers.
The tandem will likewise meet with Mayor Alfredo Valdez Jr. of San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte and then head to San Nicolas Old Plaza for another town hall meeting.
