ORANI, Bataan—Three alleged drug traders, who claimed they were jobless, were arrested on Tuesday, March 22, during a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay Pantalan Luma in this town, police said.

The three suspects were identified as John Alipio, 51; Ervin Infante, 43; and Vhergil Infante, 23. They yielded 17 sachets containing alleged “shabu” (crystal meth).

Police anti-drug unit operatives said the confiscated drugs were worth P200,000.

Col. Romell Velasco, Bataan police director, said the suspects were detained at the Orani custodial facility while awaiting formal charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
