2 victims of summary execution found in QC

MANILA, Philippines – The bodies of a man and a woman, bearing bullet wounds and appearing to be victims of summary execution, were found on the side of a road at the boundary between Quezon City and Rodriguez town in Rizal early Tuesday, police said.

A security guard of a water company discovered the bodies lying face down around 4 a.m. near Zigzag Road in Barangay (village) San Jose, Superintendent Don Bait, Rodriguez police chief, said.

“No one saw the dumping,” Bait said over the phone.

The authorities had yet to identify the victims, but believed that the two were probably victims of extrajudicial execution.

The female victim was described as 4’11” to 5’1” in height and in her early 20s. She wore a yellow shirt and denim jeans.

The male victim, whose hands were cuffed behind his back, appeared to be in his early 30s and was described as 5’5″ to 5’7” in height. He wore a brown shirt and brown cargo pants.

The bodies were taken to Antipolo Funeral Homes for autopsy.
