P345K worth of ‘shabu’ seized from 2 women in Tarlac
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Government operatives confiscated some P345,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) from two women arrested recently in a buy-bust operation in Tarlac City.
In a statement Monday, March 14, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Region 3 (PDEA-3), identified the suspects as Teresita Adiol, 50, and Corazon Adriano, 35, both of Tarlac City.
The PDEA-3 said the suspects were arrested Sunday after allegedly selling shabu to an undercover agent.
It said the operation was conducted in coordination with the Tarlac provincial and city police.
Some 50 grams of alleged shabu, along with the marked peso bills used in the sting operation, were confiscated from the two women, investigators said.
