Two pickpockets nabbed at campaign motorcade in Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines — Two suspected pickpockets were arrested on Sunday evening for allegedly taking the wallet of a male spectator at the motorcade of Bongbong Marcos and Sara Duterte tandem in Las Piñas, the Southern Police District (SPD) reported on Monday.
The suspects — identified as Janice Midoranda, 38; and Criselda Aleonar, 42 — were arrested in front of a mall on Alabang Zapote Road in Barangay Talon Uno.
The spectator reported the incident to the police who were able to immediately nab the suspects.
A case of theft will be filed against the two suspects.
This was not the first time that people who attended the campaign rally of the tandem had their belongings stolen.
