Solon decries bad taste on political propaganda in Iloilo town

Rep. Braeden John Biron of Iloilo's fourth district denounced the putting up of posters that likened the Dumangas mayoral race to the Russian and Ukrainian conflict.

ILOILO CITY — Rep. Braeden John Biron of Iloilo’s fourth district denounced the putting up of posters that likened the Dumangas mayoral race to the Russian and Ukrainian conflict.

The poster showed a photo of Biron’s father Ferjenel,who was portrayed as Russian President Vladimir Putin; and Ian Dolutan, the former vice mayor of Dumangas and Biron’s mayoral opponent as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Biron, a mayoral bet for the municipality of Dumangas, decried the move of his political opponents.
