Drug suspect busted in Cabuyao, Laguna

LUCENA CITY––Anti-illegal drugs operatives on Wednesday busted a shabu (crystal meth) peddler in Cabuyao City in Laguna province.
The Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) police said Jonathan Patricio was arrested after he sold shabu to an undercover cop in a buy-bust operation around 1:20 a.m. in Barangay Banlic.

The police found in Patricio’s possession an undocumented caliber .45 pistol loaded with seven bullets and five sachets of shabu.

The suspect was detained and charged for illegal possession of a firearm and violating the election gun ban.
Patricio will also face a complaint about violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
