 No consular office operations on Feb. 25 – DFA

MANILA, Philippines — Operations in all consular offices nationwide will be suspended on Friday, Feb. 25 in observance of the 36th EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced on Tuesday.

In a statement, the DFA informed the public of the suspension of operations in the Office of Consular Affairs at the Aseana Business Park, Parañaque City and all consular offices nationwide.

This, in line with Proclamation No. 1236 issued by the Office of the President, declaring Feb. 25 as a special non-working holiday.

All consular services, including passport, Apostille and authentication, will resume on Feb. 28, according to the DFA. – Jericho Zafra, INQUIRER.net trainee
