Minor nabbed for ‘stealing’ P5M from construction firm in Bulacan
CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – A 17-year-old boy from the City of Meycauayan was arrested after he allegedly stole P5 million in cash from a construction company.
In a belated report Wednesday, Feb. 9, Col. Rommel Ochave, Bulacan police director, said around 8 p.m. on Feb. 6, the suspect broke into the office of Sinian International Corp. in Barangay Pantoc.
Investigators said the boy entered the company’s office through the ceiling after destroying a cemented fence and a PVC pipe.
The suspect then destroyed the office vault and took away the cash.
Police said one of the security cameras in the area caught the robbery, and a bystander identified the suspect, who was arrested after a manhunt operation.
