PRC to conduct 92 licensure exams this year
MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is seeking to allow licensure exam takers and personnel to present their vaccination cards in lieu of swab test or quarantine requirement, according to its chair, Teofilo Pilando Jr.
The PRC has scheduled 92 licensure examinations this year. Pilando said the PRC had been in touch with the Department of Health and the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases for the amendment of its joint administrative order that sets the rules for examinees and exam personnel.
Under the order, examinees and exam personnel must have a negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction test three to five days before the exam date if they have a history of travel and exposure or contact with a probable or confirmed case.
Pilando said the PRC had suggested that vaccination cards be presented in lieu of these requirements.
