Bongbong Marcos’ camp picked interview schedule, says TV host Korina Sanchez

MANILA, Philippines — Broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez – Roxas on Friday clarified that it was the camp of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. that picked the time and date of his appearance on her show, which resulted in the former senator’s absence from the forum organized by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).
“To be clear: When we invited BBM it was his team who chose the time and date. We had no choice,” Sanchez-Roxas said in an Instagram post.
Sanchez-Roxas said they had a cooking segment and likewise touched on political issues

Sanchez-Roxas earlier said Marcos Jr. and other presidential candidates will be on #RatedKorina’s Upuan ng Katotohanan.
Other presidential candidates interviewed include Senator Panfilo Lacson, Manila Mayor Isko Moreno, Senator Manny Pacquiao, and Vice President Leni Robredo.
Atty. Vic Rodriguez, Marcos’ spokesperson, said the interview with Sanchez-Roxas “is just one of the many activities we have in the full schedule of presidential aspirant Bongbong Marcos today.”
The former senator declined to participate in the KBP forum, citing conflict in his schedule.
Lacson, Moreno, Pacquiao, Robredo, and Leody De Guzman graced the KBP forum.
Marcos Jr. also declined to be interviewed by GMA News broadcast journalist Jessica Soho last month.
His camp pointed out that Soho is biased against the Marcos family, a claim that GMA News strongly denied.
