Police seize P353,000 in meth, nab 4 suspects in CamSur
LEGAZPI CITY—Some P353,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) was seized from four suspects in a police operation late on Thursday (Jan. 6) in Calabanga town, Camarines Sur province.
The operation yielded 52 grams of shabu, marked money, two scooters, a knife and drug paraphernalia, according to Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol Regional Police Office.
The arrested suspects were all residents of the town— Ivy Aguilar, 35; Allan Exala, 35; Benjie Mariño, 36 and Danielle Marie Azuela, 20.
Calubaquib on Friday (Jan. 7) said the suspects were caught selling shabu in a drug den past 8 p.m. on Thursday.
The suspects have been detained and await filing of charges.
