After 5-day COVID-free status, Angeles City logs 1 new case
ANGELES CITY––This city registered a new COVID-19 case on Wednesday, Dec. 29, five days after having no active cases.
In its latest bulletin, the city government said a resident of Sapangbato village was infected with COVID-19. It also recorded zero new recoveries and deaths.
This city registered zero new cases from Dec. 17 to 28. It declared its COVID-free status on Dec. 24 after a patient from Pampang village recovered from the viral disease.
Since the pandemic started last year, the city has recorded 12,550 cases, of which 12,033 had recovered, while 516 had died.
