PNP records 4 new COVID-19 cases; active infections at 24
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported four new COVID-19 cases within its ranks on Thursday, raising its total active coronavirus cases to 24.
According to the PNP Health Service, the police force has so far registered 42,261 total COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
Meanwhile, another two patients have recovered, raising the number of recoveries to 42,112.
No new death was recorded. The PNP’s death toll due to COVID-19 complications remains at 125.

The 24 cases in the police agency are among the 10,418 active cases of the disease nationwide after 889 new cases were recorded on Wednesday, the most in over a month.
