Perpetual scholarships granted to 3 CITE students

/ 08:06 AM February 28, 2012

THE Rotary Club of Yotsukaido (Japan) inked a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Center for Industrial Technology and Enterprise (CITE) last Feb. 4 to grant a perpetual scholarship to 22-year-old Linolen Kabalican and two other scholars of the Rotary Club of Cebu.

The MOA signing was made possible by CITE trustee Jose Soberano, who brought the Japanese rotarians to Cebu to meet their scholars.

Roy Lotzof, Rotary Club of Cebu president, thanked the group for continually supporting their outreach projects. The gesture was welcomed by Katsumi Murayama, president of Rotary Club of Yotsukaido.
