2 kids die of COVID-19 in Tarlac
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Two girls died of COVID-19 in Tarlac, data from the provincial government showed on Wednesday, Dec. 15.
In its latest bulletin, the Tarlac COVID-19 Task Force said one of them was a 2-year-old resident of Bamban town, while the other was an 11-year-old resident of Tarlac City.
The province has 94 active cases as of Wednesday. It registered no new patients and 20 recoveries on the same day.
Capas has the most active cases at 19, followed by Paniqui (15) and Gerona (14).
Tarlac has recorded 18,973 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 18,042 had recovered while 837 had died.
