Car thieves kill, run over woman in QC
A 34-year-old woman who was on her way to a yoga class was shot and run over by men who took off with her car in Kamuning, Quezon City, Wednesday morning.
The brutal slaying of Teresa Teano came just days after the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) announced the arrest of five suspected car thieves.
This time, however, the police said they had yet to come up with leads on the latest carjacking case.
The victim was about to get out of her car, a new red Hyundai Accent without any plate number, in front of the Brahma Kumaris School on Gener Street corner Kamuning Road when two armed men appeared and demanded the keys to the vehicle.
When Teano resisted and shouted for help, the two men shot her, witnesses told the police.
“After she was shot, she fell in front of her vehicle and was also run over by [the] fleeing suspects,” the police said.
