11 Tarlac towns log zero new COVID-19 cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––At least 11 towns in Tarlac registered zero new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday (Nov. 23), provincial government data showed.

In its latest bulletin, the Tarlac COVID-19 task force said the towns of Concepcion, Paniqui, Camiling, Victoria, Bamban, Pura, Moncada, Sta. Ignacia, San Clemente, Ranos, and San Manuel had no new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday.

Data also showed that only 13 new COVID cases were recorded in the province on that day. These were from Tarlac City (4) and the towns of Capas (3) La Paz (2), Gerona (1), Anao (1), Mayantoc (1) and San Jose (1).

Tarlac also registered 61 recoveries and a single death on Tuesday. The fatality was a 48-year-old female resident of Tarlac City.

The province has recorded 18,703 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 17,756 had recovered while 829 had died. Its active cases stand at 118.
