Youth asked to join future leaders summit

The Aboitiz Group is now accepting applications from college students from around the country to participate in the 7th Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit (AFLBS) on Aug. 17 and 18 in Cebu City.

The gathering will  prepare potential youth leaders for the corporate world and inspire them to develop renewed faith and hope in our country.

Working on the theme “Significantly changing my Philippines,” the summit will engage delegates in plenary discussions, games and teambuilding exercises that simulate real work and business situations.

These activities were  crafted to prepare the participants for their role in nation-building and motivate them to respond to the everyday call of leadership.

The summit will also give the delegates an opportunity to establish networks and form ties with the officers and staff of the Aboitiz Group as well as fellow young leaders.

An applicant must be a Filipino citizen, not more than 25 years old at the time of the event and an incoming third year or fourth year student (for four-year course) or fourth or fifth year student (for five-year course) taking up business management, accounting, communications, political science, information technology, marketing, finance, engineering, psychology, economics and law.

They must belong to the top 20 of their class, an active leader or officer of any student organization, have excellent communication skills and not facing any disciplinary case inside or outside the campus.

Since 2006, the AFLBS has been bringing together the country’s top 90 college students nationwide for a two-day event.
