Cops nab newbie drug pusher in Lucena, seize P224K shabu
LUCENA CITY – Police arrested a suspected rookie drug pusher and seized over P224,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation here early Wednesday.
Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, reported that anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Mark Anthony Fajardo after selling a pack of shabu to an undercover cop acting as a poseur buyer in Barangay Cotta around 12:56 a.m.
The suspect was found carrying 16 plastic sachets of shabu ready for distribution to his drug user clients in the village and nearby areas.
The confiscated meth, weighing 11 grams, has an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P74,800 and worth P224,400 in the street market.
The police tagged the suspect as “newly identified drug personality”.
The drug pushing activity of the suspect was tipped off to police hotlines by anonymous callers. The information was confirmed by reformed drug users in the village.
