Tarlac logs 12 COVID-19 deaths, 12 new cases

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Tarlac province on Wednesday recorded 12 deaths and 12 new COVID-19 cases.

In its latest bulletin, the provincial government said 23 patients have also recovered from COVID-19.

Five of the fatalities were from Concepcion town and seven from Gerona town. The youngest was a 23-year-old man, while the oldest was a 70-year-old woman.

The new COVID-19 cases include a 90-year-old woman from Tarlac City and an 88-year-old woman from La Paz town.

As of Wednesday, Anao and Ramos towns had no active COVID-19 case, while San Jose and San Manuel towns have one each.

The provincial capital, Tarlac City, has the most active cases at 31, followed by Capas (18) and Paniqui (16).

The province has recorded 18,197 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 17,267 have recovered, while 788 have died.
