Arroyo back at Veterans’ Hospital
MANILA, Philippines — Former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo is back at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center in Quezon City Thursday after pleading “not guilty” to the electoral sabotage case filed against her by the Commission on Elections.
Arroyo took the same white coaster (XCW 641) she used in going to the Pasay Regional Trial Court for her arraignment.
Arroyo arrived at the VMMC with her security convoy around 9:50 a.m. accompanied by her son and Congressman Diosdado “Dato” Arroyo and her spokesperson Elena Bautista Horn.
Arroyo’s covoy entered through Gate 1, or the North Avenue gate after almost 45 minutes of travel.
