Infant dies in vehicular accident in Northern Samar
ORMOC CITY — A one-month-old infant died in a vehicular accident along the national highway of Barangay Bugko, Mondragon town, Northern Samar on Wednesday, Oct. 20.
The infant was with his parents on board a tricycle when the vehicle slammed into a cargo truck that was parked along the road at around 7:35 p.m.

The baby was rushed to the Northern Samar Provincial Hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
Police investigators said the tricycle rammed into a truck allegedly owned by a local construction firm.
The driver of the tricycle as well as the infant’s father and mother sustained injuries on their legs and other parts of the body.
