COVID-19 recoveries in Olongapo hit all-time high at 179
OLONGAPO CITY––The city recorded 179 new recoveries from COVID-19, its highest since the pandemic struck last year, local data showed on Wednesday, Sept. 29.
The figure brought down to 541 the city’s active COVID-19 cases, which reflected a 25-percent drop from the 695 cases the previous day.
The local task force said 31 new infections were added Wednesday to the city’s data, which raised to 5,088 its total confirmed cases since last year.
The same data showed that at least six virus-infected patients had died from COVID-19, which pushed the city’s death toll to 261.
Healthcare workers were also monitoring 127 suspected COVID-19 cases. INQ
