20 more COVID-19 deaths logged in Zambales
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — After three days of having no new COVID-19 deaths, the province logged 20 more fatalities on Tuesday, Sept. 14, local data showed.
According to the provincial health office records, the new fatalities raised to 257 the province’s COVID-19 death toll since last year.
On the same day, 81 new COVID-19 cases were added to the province’s data, while the active cases dropped from 1,054 to 990 following the recovery of 125 patients.
So far, the province has recorded a total of 7,257 confirmed cases, but 6,266 of them have already been cleared of the viral disease, reflecting an 86-percent recovery rate.
