Zambales vice governor tests positive for COVID-19
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—Vice Gov. Jay Khonghun announced on Tuesday (Sept. 14) night that he has tested positive for COVID-19.
On his official Facebook page, Khonghun said he experienced symptoms of the disease, such as fever, cough, colds and body aches.
He also reminded everyone to follow safety protocols and encouraged them to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
To date, the province has reached a new record-high with 1,054 active cases. It listed a total of 7,257 COVID-19 cases since last year, 6,266 of which recovered, and 237 died.
