PH receives over 188,000 Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines from COVAX
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 188,370 doses of US-made Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines arrived in the Philippines on Thursday night.
WHO-led COVAX facility donated the doses, which arrived at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) at around 9:45 p.m., according to the National Task Force against COVID-19.
This is the second batch of Pfizer vaccines to arrive in the country this month, following the delivery of over 700,000 doses on Wednesday, Sept. 1.

So far, the Philippines have received over 2.8 million Pfizer doses that the government procured.
