CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—A suspected drug dealer from Mandaluyong City was killed, and P3.4 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized during a buy-bust operation Saturday, Aug. 7, that led to an alleged shootout in Marilao town.

Bulacan police director Col. Lawrence Cajipe reported that Tony Cabas died after exchanging shots with Marilao cops and anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Sta. Rosa 2.

Recovered from the slain suspect were 550 grams of shabu inside six plastic bags, the marked money, and a .45-caliber Colt pistol.
