6 more COVID-19 deaths recorded in Zambales

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––Six more fatalities related to COVID-19 were registered Monday in this province, pushing its total death toll to 122.

Citing the latest data, Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said the new fatalities were 62 to 82 years old. All of them had other existing ailments and contracted pneumonia.

Bueno also reported that 35 new COVID-19 patients and 25 new recoveries were recorded on the same day, bringing the total number of active cases in the province to 372.

Three of the new cases are nurses, while two are police officers.

The province has recorded 4,351 COVID-19 cases since last year, 3,857 of which have recovered.
