6 more PNP personnel in Central Luzon contract COVID-19

The COVID-19 death toll in the country increased to 26,874, after the Department of Health (DOH) reported 32 new deaths on Wednesday.

OLONGAPO CITY—Six new cases of COVID-19 were recorded Thursday among the Philippine National Police workforce in Central Luzon.

The latest bulletin from the Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) showed that the infections raised to 88 its active cases.

One patient recovered on the same day, slightly pushing to 1,803 the PRO3’s number of recoveries from COVID-19.

Since last year, at least 1,896 of the PNP workforce in the region, including non-uniformed personnel, had contracted the viral disease.
