Man gunned down in Masbate town
LEGAZPI CITY — A 36-year-old man was shot and killed by unidentified gunmen in Palanas town in Masbate on Wednesday morning.
Police Colonel Joriz Cantoria, Masbate police chief, said in a report that Dexter Atendido was shot by seven unidentified men who forcibly entered his house in Barangay Matugnao at around 6:15 p.m.
The suspects pretended to be members of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, Cantoria said.
Police recovered from the scene seven fired cartridge cases for caliber 5.56mm.
