IATF OKs holding of Binibining Pilipinas coronation

The government’s pandemic task force has given the green light to the holding of the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) said all participants would be required to undergo a COVID-19 reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction test 48 hours prior to the event.

The coronation night, scheduled on July 11, must also strictly follow all health and safety protocols, the IATF said.

The IATF has also allowed the holding of the Foreign Service Officers Examination oral tests on July 28 to 30. —Leila B. Salaverria
