Gov’t OKs Binibining Pilipinas 2021 coronation night at Araneta Coliseum
MANILA, Philippines — The government’s COVID-19 pandemic task force has allowed the Binibining Pilipinas 2021 coronation night to be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum subject to health and safety protocols, Malacañang said Friday.
Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) agreed to allow this during a meeting on Thursday night.
All participants and guests would be required to undergo COVID-19 RT-PCR tests 48 hours prior to the event.
The Binibining Pilipinas coronation night is set on July 11.
Meanwhile, the IATF has also allowed the conduct of foreign service officers examination (FSOE) oral tests, which are scheduled from July 28 to 30.
Roque said only 26 examinees will participate and the tests would be held at different venues within the Department of Foreign Affairs building.
